Chrysanthemum Stone

Chrysanthemum Stone is a black and white stone composed of gypsum clay, dolomite and limestone with internal crystals of calcite, feldspar, celestite or andalusite. Originally discovered in Japan, they are now found in China, Canada and the area of Lake Superior in the USA. The stones exhibit a beautiful, abstract pattern looking very much like a Japanese brush painting of the chrysanthemum flower.

Chrysanthemum Stone is said to help activate one's dormant capacities and awaken one to their true potential so they may "blossom" into their perfect self. It gives one the courage and opportunities to carry their dreams to fruition. It is considered a stone of hope, courage and luck, and a "remover of obstacles."
