Close up of Pentagonite crystals in micro heulandite matrix Cavansite and its rarer cousin Pentagonite are crystals of brilliant ultramarine blue. According to Robert Simmon's in "The Book of Stones;"

"This is a stone of the purest Blue Ray vibrations. It unites the energies of the fifth and sixth chakras-the throat and the third eye-facilitating clear insight and articulate communication of what has been seen and understood. Cavansite & Pentagonite can help in developing or enhancing psychic intuition and is said to help one in accessing the Akashic records, the inner 'library' of Universal knowledge. Pentagonite is chemically identical to Cavansite, but they have a different crystal structure. Pentagonite exhibits a five-sided crystal (thus, its name), also, the crystals are elongated (spikier) and quite delicate. Pentagonite is rarer and thus more costly then Cavansite to collectors. Crystal workers have reported that Pentagonite's energies are higher and more refined than its Cavansite cousin.

Heulandite is said to facilitate an open mind and receptivity. Many believe that it can be useful in channeling the ancient mysteries of Atlantis and Lemuria, and help one with past life recall. An emotionally healing stone, it aids in dealing with grief and loss of all kinds. It is associated with the crown chakra.
